There are no corners cut when we brew Seeds of Love. Having found a great balance between grape bitterness and hoppiness in the test batch, Mattias wasn’t too happy to see it set in production. The recipe requires hand squeezed grapefruits. A LOT of grapefruits as well. We said: “can you use essence oils instead?”. Mattias gave us a look that could melt iron and left the room without a word. He’s still hand-juicing grapefruits, but the end result shows it’s worth every minute of work. Craft beer, or just tears for beers?
