The rest of the world would call this a session-beer. It’s lower alcohol not compromising the flavours or fullness of the beer. In Sweden we call it by it’s proper name: Folköl – quite literally “the peoples beer”. Crisp, hoppy and very, very refreshing, this is your go-to beer when you’ve mowed the lawn, gone for a walk with the dog, put your favourite record on, started cooking, finished cooking, had a heated discussion on the best live album ever* or simply when you want to be yourself for a… sorry, that was some other beer.
*arguably, it has to be Made In Japan by Deep Purple. Magic stuff.
